Still so sad Rangers blew that shit. And Nellie Cruz is my favorite player. I was having to defend him when he didn't make that catch.
I was sitting two rows behind Cruz' parents at Game 3 against the Tigers in Detroit. Our season tickets were smack dab in the section where they put the Rangers' families. Very nice people. They even caught a foul ball! Well if you count "catching" as the ball falling under their seats and they picked it up.
Tough play by Cruz. I think the ball sailed on him and I think he may have been a tad afraid of the wall.
