I was all set to disagree with you and then I looked at Wakefield's stats the last 10 years and just eyeballing it, I see his ERA was around 4.60 or 4.70 and I thought it would have been much lower. His win/loss record is nice but that is a fairly worthless stat, especially when playing on a good team.
On the new bar bet, obviously the way you have framed it, somewhere in Canada is the answer. Through a quirk of geography, I do know that Windsor, Ontario sits to the south of Detroit just across the Detroit River and would seem to be one of the southernmost areas of Canada though I am sure I am forgetting something. (I know I could google it but that would be no fun)
