I don't know if I've ever heard a former player get more angry than Darling when there's news that someone has been suspended for PEDs.
On the day Cabrera's suspension was announced, Darling was so upset on the air, I thought he was going to fly to San Francisco and punch out Cabrera. He was pissed.
Frankly, I was surprised to find that quote because I hear him every now and then on a broadcast and he is obviously well-informed and calm.
