Rick Camp: 1953 - 2013

"Terry Tata, I'll never forget as long as I live, he was the home plate umpire, the count goes to 0-2, he said 'Camp, hit it out and we'll play until daylight.' I did. As I was rounding the bases, he was shouting, 'You S.O.B., I didn't mean it! And every time after that, every time he saw me, he would point toward left field, like I was Babe Ruth." - on his first and only home run on 7-5-85 in the 18th inning to tie the game against the Mets which eventually ended in a 16-13 Mets win against the Braves in the 19th inning
