I am on Kirk's side. My oldest 4 are all one year apart... so I went to high school graduation 4 years in a row and seriously, I couldn't care less if I ever go to another one as long as I live.
Here in Houston, they insist on doing graduations in Reliant stadium, so it isn't like you can even see your kid without binoculars, plus you have to pay $10 for the privilege to park 3 miles away....
And they don't even have the courtesy to open the concession stands during graduation (i.e. sell me a beer).
Seasoned Midwesterner who's interests include baseball, collectibles, Detroit Tigers, heavy music including gothic and symphonic metal, history and offering unsolicited social and political commentary.
