On this date in 1971, Braves shortstop Leo Foster made his major league debut against the Pirates by committing an error in his first chance, hitting into a double play in the fifth inning, and hitting into a triple play in the seventh inning. Through no help from Foster, the Braves lost 11-2.
I sure hope Leo didn't leave any tickets for excited relatives.
Now THAT would suck!
