Ozzie Guillen
On this date in 1995, Ozzie Guillen of the White Sox shoves Jeff Cirillo of the Brwers touching off a bench-clearing brawl which included the two managers Phil Garner and Terry Bevington swinging at each other.
"Great players don't need a psychiatrist. Last five years, you see a lot of this in baseball. When players fail, they need a doctor. I was from an era in baseball when Budweiser and vodka took care of psychiatric things. You fail, you get drunk and you come back the next day to see how good it feels. The psycho guys - the doctors, they never played the game. If a psychiatrist really worked, I would need one now."
