Bo Belinsky was one of the few baseball players I heard of before I started following baseball in 1967.
Unlike the others (Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Yogi Berra, Harmon Killebrew, and Johnny Callison), I had no idea who Belinsky was - only that he had a cool-sounding name.
Seasoned Midwesterner who's interests include baseball, collectibles, Detroit Tigers, heavy music including gothic and symphonic metal, history and offering unsolicited social and political commentary.
