The Twins as sellers
Apparently due to Joe Mauer's injury and the Twins poor showing to date, the Twins may be "sellers" at the trade deadline this year.
That would kind of be an interesting storage locker to look at.
I can tell you this though. I would NOT let Dave Hester bid up the price of Jason Kubel.
He's just not worth it.
On the other hand, if they have any Inaugural Season Target Field baseballs or like a gross of old "homer hankies" lying around, I might throw a few dollars that way. I might be able to turn some of that stuff over.

They won't move the fences in, you know

I see the Twins signed Jacque Jones to a minor league contract.
Jones played for the Tigers in 2008 and batted .165 in 79 at bats. I think I saw most of them and can't recall him ever hitting the ball out of the infield.
Good luck, Jacque and everything but nobody is going to move the fences in a hundred feet for you like they did for the Bad News Bears when they played that one time in the Astrodome. With regular fences, I think there is a problem.
Just sayin.
