Marzano died in an accident at home a few years ago (fell down the stairs - blunt trauma) He was a bit of a minor hero here.
Kid from Philadelphia who made the majors despite minimal skills. Was doing commentary work for the Phils when he died.
I remember when it happened and thinking "Whoah, wasn't he a recent player, and young?"
