Jim Leyland had this to say about Zach Miner who has given up 14 earned runs in his last 14 innings and has a spring ERA of 9.69.
"I think he's throwing fine. Yes, I do."
I know Leyland likes messing with the media just about as much as any manager but this is a bit over the top even for him.
