Dontrelle Willis was sent to the mound again and unfortunately with the same results. Three walks in three inings including one that walked in a run. Only 2 pitches hit 90 mph or higher. In other words, the ball is nowhere near the plate but if it gets close, this is batting practice.
The headline in the MLB.com Tigers beat writer, Jason Beck, article is "D-Train gets outing back on track" apparently (I guess) referring to a clean third inning. Hmmm. Ok.
Mr. Gage has not yet checked in but that is probably a good thing.
