"The light was red as hell"


This was Lou Piniella's response when asked if Cubs pitcher, Ted Lilly had the green light when he was thrown out at second base attempting to steal in the third inning of last night's game against the Astros.

Yep, pitchers need to learn the signs too.

Good thing Lilly was not on third base and tried to execute a suicide squeeze on his own.

Team game, Ted. Team game.
