You gotta be kidding?!

I note that now that the Minnesota Vikings are the sole tenant in the Metrodome, the Vikings have a new naming rights deal and the stadium is now officially known as Mall of America Field at the Hubert Humphrey H. Metrodome.

Are they brain dead?

Mall of America Field at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome?

This has all the characteristics of a name arrived at by a committee.

Mall of America Field at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome?

Why would you need an entire paragraph for the name of your stadium? The name of the stadium ideally just roll off your tongue. You know, like, "Hey we are going to ABC Field tonight. Can't wait."

Mall of America Field at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome? A stadium name?

Shame on them if they took more than 15 minutes coming up with this. Ingenuity is dead in America. It just is.

I can just see the owner of the Vikings on this:

"Their suggestion is what? That's funny. No really, what did they come up with?"

(Silence)

(Wonders whether these people are contractors or at-will employees)

(Dials the VP of Human Resources)
