It wouldn't surprise me if this also works in reverse.
When those few American pitchers in Japan* are called into the game, the locals probably play that Japanese song "Hiroshima Atonement Imminent" and the guy just doesn't know it.
*Yes I know that Fu-Te Ni is from Taiwan and not Japan. Work with me here, ok?
