On this day in 1989, Boise Hawks manager Mal Fichman was ejected during an 8-4 loss to Salem but returned to the game disguised as the team's mascot, Humphrey the Hawk. He was suspended one game for the impersonation.
Sometimes people do things you know. Those suits do have an allure.
I note that Mal never made it to the major leagues for some reason.
