Do they really have to "advertise" hot dogs?

Aren't they universally (well in this country anyway) beloved?

Especially at a ballpark?

Don't they kind of, you know, "sell themselves"?

They would probably be better served using that advertising space for that gross-looking "rope candy" that I see vendors with the least amount of seniority trying to peddle at the park.

Or the prepackaged salads with the prepackaged dressing.

Now those things need all the advertising they can get, if you ask me.

Probably designed under the assumption that if you stare at the ad for a few innings you'll want a hot dog or another hot dog.

What is this "hot dog" you speak of? Is it, in fact, a dog that has been cooked? And they serve this at baseball games?
