The donuts work too well I think. I used one once and after I took it off, I was about 20 feet ahead of the pitch. It felt like I was swinging a toilet paper roll.
We keep them away from our little league kids. With the better kids, we compensate by (sometimes) throwing to them in practice just a little harder than the hardest thrower in the league which helps with bat speed. Not a fan of those donuts.
