Frank "Creepy" Crespi
Born on today's date, Frank "Creepy" Crespi.
Hey, where are our generation's Creepys?
All we have now are Derek Jeter, David Wright, Ryan Howard etc. Good players and all but very boring names and badly in need of a nickname. Sorry guys, it's true.
How did these guys grow up without getting a nickname? No friends?
Parents, wives, friends or any person who could bestow a nickname on a current professional baseball player, I implore you, get busy!
Thanks.

He does what?!
The New York Post today reports that "Derek Jeter has girls stay at his apartment in New York, and then he gets them a cab to take them home the next day. Waiting in his car is a gift basket containing signed Jeter memorabilia, usually a signed baseball."
Where to start?
Well I'm sure they are signed on the sweet spot.
The baseballs I'm talkin' about! Geez!
Also beats the "I was with Derek and all I got was this stupid t-shirt" memento.
I wonder if he's got better range to his left when......oh forget it.
