Bugs!

On this date in 2007 at an ALDS game in Cleveland, Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain is swarmed by bugs and gives up the tying run on a wild pitch in route to a 2-1 loss.

Jorge, come again?!

"We have to try to get one more starter. I think Cashman knows it. I think it's a priority for us. Hopefully, we can get that." Jorge Posada to Sweeny Murti and Ed Coleman on WFAN radio.

I guess he doesn't like Phil Hughes and Joba Chamberlain very much.

Borrowing a phrase from the "poet", Paul Stanley, I say this, "Shout it out loud!"

Feliz did not agree

So Tim McCarver is shamelessly fawning over Joba Chamerlain exclaiming that his fastball is so good tonight, that he has no need for a secondary pitch. My thought was that this applies to Mariano Rivera only but what do I know. I don't analyze baseball for a living but I do question this.

Pedro Feliz comes up and McCarver piles it on even higher indicating that Chamberlain is about to strike out the side with this out-of-this world (my words) fastball. He doesn't need anything else. He's Joba.

Well we know now that Feliz doesn't agree either and thinks that Chamberlain needs a secondary pitch.
