Gotta fix those phones
Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports that Tony LaRussa walked out of the movie, Moneyball as a tribute to his scouts.
"It's our tribute to all the scouts and baseball people that were dissed by Moneyball. That's why I walked out of Moneyball."
LaRussa phone call to the Scouting Department: "Hey guys, guess what I did for you as a tribute!"
Head scout: (pause) "Yeah, we'll take a look at a deaf mute. Just give us his name."
