You can save the "Best Shape of his Life" headline on this one
Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports that Manny Ramirez says he weighs 235 pounds, up from 200 pounds last year, and that physically he does not feel his age.
"From the waist down, I feel like 15," he said. "From the neck up, I'm like 43. I feel good."
35 pounds. Hmmmmm.
You know, Andruw Jones tried something like this once.
Same team, matter of fact.

Yeah, that scared me, too, when I read it.
Well, I guess it didn't scare you. You have a center fielder to fret over.
Part of the All John Kruk team?
Night Owl,
Yes, the Tigers do now have a (defensive) problem in left field or center field (who knows where they will try and hide him). The Tigers do have the propaganda machine running on all cylinders though. Just today, one of my partners in our season-ticket plan said he was excited to get Damon as he is an "experienced" outfielder. I left it alone.

Mark,
35 lbs is lot of (marbled) beef so yea, he's a worthy candidate, I think.
