A player needs 502 plate appearances to be eligible for the batting crown

Melky has 501 this year.

You can be darn certain that Bud pushed this thing through at the speed of light.

He wasn't taking any chances on "Tainted Melk" winning that thing.*

*Melky is presently second at .347, 15 points behind Andrew McCutchen at .362 and Bud wasn't gonna take ANY chance on Melky winning that crown via a late McCutchen slump.

Whenever I am a little critical of someone (frankly I don't think I am that critical of a person) I always make sure that everything is spelled right.
